Half Way to Silver Peak

Since there was little to no new snow, Geoff, Alissa and I decided to go snow shoeing up to Silver Peak. We made it about half way up, just to the base of where the mountain really starts. A good 3.5 mile hike.

I decided to lug my snow board with me, and also hiked up in my snow boarding boots. Good preparation for my hut trip in Colorado in February.
It was a great day for a hike, warm and (partially) sunny.
Geoff took these pictures, visit his Flickr Site at http://flickr.com/photos/cedralpass/
