2012 Year in Review

Holy smokes, what a year! Two new additions to the Clifford Clan! Ms. Emily Winter became Mrs. Emily Clifford, and little Ross Clifford was born. The California Clifford's bought a house and moved from the big city to the burbs. Where should I begin!

Happy (Goofy) Couple

Let's start with the Big Wedding! Colin and Emily decided to tie the note in beautiful Dahab, Egypt - a small backpacker/resort town known for outstanding scuba diving.

The entire party met up at the Dahab Paradise resort, where we all would be staying and where the ceremony would be happening.

This wedding was an event none of us shall soon forget. Complete with camel rides, dancing with Bedouin, scuba diving, and a fantastic ceremony and meal. Thank you Colin and Emily for letting us all be part of this fantastic experience!

Little Ross

The other big was the birth of a second child. A little boy named Ross John Clifford. He was born in late November, weighing in at about 6 1/2 pounds. A little smaller than Tom, but he makes up for it in appetite. Poor Debbie is constantly feeding the little guy.

To keep things even more interesting, we sunk our life savings into a house in the burbs, moving just south of San Francisco to a town called Burlingame. We love the extra space, the lively little town, our enormous (to us) back yard, and the slower pace of things. We really miss our friends in San Francisco, the fantastic restaurants, and the fact it is so easy to get around there (we find ourselves driving more than we ever did). Please, if anyone feels the need to eat some good food, drink some good wine, and hang out in the burbs, look us up, we'd love to have you.

Now, with Christmas and New Years approaching, family is descending on us. And we are so incredibly grateful for it. We are honestly looking forward to handing off the kids and catching some naps, and maybe dinner out or something. We really could use it.

To all the rest out there that we haven't talked to in a while - please forgive us. We promise to get better once we find our grove with two kids. It's been a little chaotic this year Smile
